Rahi had snatched this canvas from me and done a water painting but it did not come out good.So, I painted this with oil , right on top of the water paints. This took me an hour.

Just framed this one. Hanging on my wall now.Just mulling.. Is the frame too dark?Those railings need to be straightened anyway.

Freezing my old art

I have not painted over a month and therefore had nothing to upload. However, I had recently been to my Mom's place for a short visit.Her drawing room looks like a mini art gallery! Its walls adorn my paintings and some of my sister's craft work. There are also paintings that I had made on tiles and similar stuff. I quickly clicked all my paintings on my cell phone and uploaded them here. Should start my next painting by the weekend.

This is just a casual sketch that I had made on some paper lying in the house.Decided to frame it after laminating it.I had sketched this with Eye liner(of all things) , as I was not in a "painting phase" those days because of pressure from studies and other things. So, didn't really have any brushes with me.Anyway, now it adds to the collection on my Mom's house.

There was a calendar lying in the house, which had lovely paintings. I'd vowed to paint each one of them..they were really beautiful..I do not remember the artist now.Finally, I painted this one, but the finishing touches never got done as I was in my final year in Science and had a lot of studying to do.But it still adorns my Mom's drawing room . My Mom's drawing room by the way is almost like a mini gallery of my paintings and sketches. I really owe it to her for keeping my paintings well maintained .

I remember doing is painting when I was in my first year in college. I had used a compass to make the grass.It was hard work but this one is amongst one of the "exclaimed at" ones. hangs in my Mom's drawing room wall in Guwahati.This is a hurriedly clicked photograph on my cell phone.
