Sculpture Rapture

These are some "on the spot" pencil sketches of Buddhist sculptures engraved on the walls of Kanheri Caves in Mumbai. The experience made me realise and appreciate the sheer talent and perseverence of the ancient scuptors..I didn't do much shading here, but tried to capture the form and mood of the sculptures.

Cave Wave

These were done at location in Kanheri Caves in Mumbai..It was a delight to try to capture with water colour and inks, the beautiful architechture of the caves.
