Dreams- sketch pen on paper

A young friend of mine dreams of becoming an IAS officer and a rockstar. He wanted me to draw him in these two avatars. I made these two quick sketches and handed them over. These were spontaneous , instantaneous and seemed to make the dreamer very happy! Iwish him success in both these endeavours.

I kept the strokes light and loose. Am planning on doing a few watercolours in 2011. Watercolours are so full of promise and I love the ability of a watercolour to capture light and present freshness.
