Trapped! Oil- 8 x 10 cm



This painting is based on the life of a friend of mine.Is it better outside..or is it better to be trapped inside.? The plight of many an Indian woman!

The subject is 'Trapped' and the viewers are 'zapped'. Keep stroking... the colors of life !

What I like about this painting is that it leaves such a strong unfulfilled desire to see the look on the face of the woman, and it relates to one part in each one of us.

While I am not competent to comment on the technical points of the painting, I think the name and the picture is apt, and the theme is universal.

love the calmness of the painting accentuated by the use of appropriate colors. The questions that it brings to the viewers mind....inspired ofcourse by the title of the painting...Love it!

koi inhi mein simat ke reh jaane ki bajah dhhond leta hai,
Aur koi ek kadam uthata hai aur jawaab ke or badh jaata hai...
